  2. Just found this on clearance rack for $75. I though it would be fun for movie night! Can’t wait to watch a movie on it tonight. I think for $75 and the bulbs are cheap you can’t beat that price. Kids don’t car if it has the best quality of picture.

  4. I was lucky and purchased this item at the $99.00 price from one of the Reseller’s available through Amazon.

I use this on the wall anywhere from 6′-8′ and the picture quality is decent, but the [smaller] text is fuzzy at best. :o ( Don’t get me wrong, it gets the job done, but I expected more for the price ($250.00).

  5. for the price its great. I had a more expensive projector but the lamp died and it was astounding for the price of a new lamp so this is a cheap alternative. 476 for a lamp or 97 for this. the picture quality isnt the best but is good to watch tv or play games on. works best with a dark room blacken out curtians etc. but its not that good to watch dark movies on. like World Trade Center or night time movies. great for a kids room because the cartoons colors are vibrant. would recommend for a 2nd or 3rd tv.

  6. I’ve had this for around a year and use it semi-regularly. Has held up well & have yet to replace a bulb (they’re only $10-$15 anyway). If you can still find it cheaply, I consider it a good deal. I bought my first mini-projector in ‘92 for north of a half grand. It used the same tech as this, just was smaller. The older projector & a couple newer ones than the Torpedo I’ve tried don’t come close to this in brightness/overall pic quality & I paid less than thirty bucks w/tax brand new for this one. Screen door effect minor compared to many other machines in this price range. Display is uniformly lit/colored. Speaker plenty loud in regular room. Does it match my HDTV-capable DLP projector–no, but it’s not designed to.
